I have been to the Arbor a couple of times and have enjoyed the ambiance. This last time my food was underwhelming. The pork ribs were fatty, the sauce was flat. The could have used some char from the grill or broiler. Other food including food for the kids, coffee, desserts were good. Arbor needs to work on the sauces to be more flavorful.
Really enjoyed my lamb burger and sweet potato fries I’d probably add some sauce that’s better for the fries but that’s just a personal preference Enjoyed the experience overall as it was a Sunday morning, very chill
It was the most terrible service I have ever received especially during this age of wide choice of hotels to go. On arrival the waiter sat us down and left the menu on our table without bothering to take our orders. I had to request for service regularly from different waiters other than the one who was attending to us. Her reception was rude and service unmatchable to the standards of the restaurant.
if you need a reservation to eat at this place then why not just say so?walked in and were shown a place to sit to wait for a table. 30mins later still waiting and no one talked to us. we had a small child who was obviously hungry upon asking if there was any chance at getting a table a less enthusiastic waiter encouraged us to leave! and we did and will never go back! also notices several pple walked in and were given tables. maybe we were not of the correct colour!
So after many many visits i had to write about this one visit. Went with a group on Saturday morning for brunch. The waitresses were on the slow side which the manager noticed and acknowledged even offering 3 free desserts without solicitation. Now that's how you keep customers coming back, make them forget the hiccups. Two years later and she is still doing it right. Keep it up Ms. Manager!!!!! Local neighborhood favorite.
