Was soo looking forward to eating here for NRW but what disappointment.
Food was okay but not great either. Service was extremely poor - ordered a drink and never got it even after requesting it twice. Had hair in my food and the waiter tried to justify how hair blew onto my plate from the air and never offered to rectify it. The waiters were confused and all over the place.
Went here for NRW 2018 and loved it. It was definitely value for money- for 2000 shillings (about 20 USD) we got a starter, main course, dessert and a mini cocktail. The food was tasty and filling.
The service is also really good. The manager/owner came over to the table to welcome us and checked on us throughout the night. Our waiter was attentive and the courses were well paced.
The restaurant is large and has plenty of space- there are also a lot of different seating options- indoor, outdoor or upstairs. The decor is a bit over the top but you get used to it and it actually works for the space.
Would definitely go back.
Location: Easily accessible by private or public means. There's plenty of free parking space. Ambiance: Warm and cozy although it got a little noisy. Food: The cocktail (which was on the house, thank you Eat Out!) was quite something. The starter was a hit! Christopher was quite helpful and recommended the fish amritsari. They serve this with some yummy spicy sauce. Delish! I had mutton roganjosh for the main. This was also good; soft and with just the right amount of spice. On the downside, the butter naan was just underwhelming. This was the one area where they certainly missed the mark. The portions could be better (especially for the main), although you end up quite full after all the courses. Food presentation could also be better. Although I had issues with my reservation, the wait staff were quite helpful!
