Had NRW2016 dinner on Saturday. The food was very good. We got to sample all the starters which is something I hadn't experienced anywhere else. Food was - as it always is at Zen - very good..Service was ok - even for a busy evening. It was on the whole - a delightful experience.

The food was really good. The customer service by Makusa was exceptional. Will definitely be back.

Loved the food and ambiance. Enjoyable experience overall. Would recommend it to friends.

Enjoyed the green curry and the pad thai. The chocolate mousse is the best I have had in Nairobi so far!

Not sure what other reviewers saw or ate, but my wife and I found the food to be way over-priced and sub-par. My wife has traveled to Thailand many times on business and loves the food there, so she knows what she's talking about.

I agree with some reviewers - everything is fine with good value-for-money, but the wine list should clearly be revised. It is not so difficult to offer a smart and diversified wine list in East and Southern Africa! Otherwise - highly recommended for Nairobi and a nice 4-ish overall. Dishes are refined, nuanced, the menu could be revised sometimes to offer more variety and 'specials'. Good place for kids (Zen Garden) and ideal for brunches.

I love the place. The food is great, the service is very kind (not always 100% attentive), but I would prefer a wider range of different wines. But otherwise, would always go back and recommend the place to friends and family!
