Situated opposite the Exchange Bar on the first floor, The Thai Chi is a small piece of Thailand in Nairobi. You will be immersed in Thai culture as you enjoy the delicacies of our executive Thai chef, a highly respected artisan who has worked in some of the finest Thai restaurants in Thailand. Modern day Thai cuisine has an ancient history. As early as the thirteenth-century, the Thai people had established what might be considered the heart of Siamese cuisine as we know it today. Even today, Thailand is a nation obsessed with food. When Thais meet, it is common to greet each other with the question "Where are you going?" quickly followed by "Have you eaten?" This passion for food and a willingness to experiment are the key reasons that Thai cuisine is widely regarded as the finest in the world. Christmas Dinner December 28, 2010 Reviewer: Daniel Mbure from Nairobi, Nairobi Kenya   The reservation desk was very helpful when I went in to review the menu. On the day we went, we found our table set up and a very helpful staff. The service was excellent. The menu was a bit confusing and we had no one to assist so we simply ordered what we thought was good. The food turned out really good, the servings were also good although we ended up over-ordering because of some misleading advice from the hostess. Best thai in Nairobi November 18, 2010 Reviewer: candice from Westlands, nairobi Kenya   Really great Thai food, authentic and delicious! This is the only Thai restaturant I will eat at in Nairobi, the only one worth actually going to if you know your thai food well... The food is a bit more pricey than the average Nairobi restaurant but its worth it.   Its a pretty small restaurant so try to  book ahead of time Was this review helpful to you?
