About Us

The Talisman Restaurant and Bar is situated in the heart of the leafy suburbs of Karen, Nairobi. Originally a quaint 1920’s mud and wattle bungalow with a tin roof, it overlooks a beautiful, large garden with a sweeping lawn and mature trees.
The warm and friendly staff, the half-in, half-out ‘alfresco’ set-up with crackling log fires, the electric mix of comfy velvet sofas, furniture and films from around the world, and the diverse selection of ambient music, all create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where you can feel at home and pampered at the same time. Marcus Mitchell, the Chef Manager, will delight you with its offering with flavors from Thailand, North Africa, European, Italian as well as excellent sushi and Sashimi. A well priced wine list featuring the world acclaimed Billecart Salmon champagne will please the wine lovers.
