Restaurant Review Havana Bar & Restaurant, located in the heart of the trendy Westlands entertainment and shopping area of Nairobi, was opened in the year 2002. This unique bar quickly established itself as the place for innovative cocktails and Latin food in Nairobi. The bar features three sections: The outside terrace for cooling down in the evenings from where one can watch the activity along the busy Woodvale Grove. The main bar area features a long counter with mellow lighting as well as a number of larger wall mounted tables with comfortable bar stools. The restaurant in the back is more quiet and intimate, with the salsa music spilling over from the bar into the candle-lit restaurant. Havana features a full fledged restaurant menu with regularly changing specials as well as a casual Bar - Bite menu. The Bar caters for any taste from crisp and fruity daiquiris to the classic mojito with fresh mint. All major Kenyan beers are available as well as a wide range of quality spirits. At Havana the weekend starts on Thursdays with D.j Zelalem, followed by D.j Sumo on Friday and Live Music with 'smooth licks' on Saturday.
