We had a terrific evening at Avalon Tavern's choma friday, the BBQ was tasty and really good value for money shared amongst 4 of us. we were also delighted to learn they had happy hour prices all Friday night. So u guys and girls out there, make your way to Avalon on Fridays, its good fun. Gardens are great too.

Magnificent!! |

I visited Avalon Tavern whilst on holiday passing through Niarobi. There was a large group of us so were able to sample a large selection from the menu. There is a great selection of small dishes and larger main courses. I had the brushcetta, followed by the traditional English fish and chips, which were great. I also tried the burger, Tilapia and calamari, which were also very nice (the beef burger was the best Iv tried in Niarobi, big and juicy). It was all very flavoursum, fresh and served promtly from friendly staff.
A must-have distination.

Great setting and good food. The special hangover soup they make was especially appreciated and so were the chocolate chip cookies! Waiters were very friendly, but quite slow considering my husband and I were the only 2 people in the whole restaurant.
